Flexible, Configurable Design

The roll formed beams in our Hybrid Racking are designed for ultimate flexibility. They can be fitted with a variety of racking accessories like safety bars, wire mesh decks, and dividers, enabling customization according to specific requirements. This high level of configurability is particularly beneficial in 3PL distribution centers, where the need for adjusting pallet load sizes is a frequent necessity.

Built for Durability & Safety

Our Hybrid Racking, especially when used with Double Deep Selective Racking and Pushback Racking, features structural front components for added impact durability. This combination of structural and roll formed components, particularly in areas less prone to lift truck impact, optimizes both cost and durability. Frames also offer three leg options, including straight leg with bull nose protector, cant leg base, or recessed leg base, and can be doubled and reinforced with heavy-duty lower horizontal braces or rub rails, further protecting your investment in high-traffic warehouses.

Versatile Storage Applications

NAS Group's Hybrid Racking is perfectly suited for multi-level storage platforms or pick towers, and Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) Selective Racking. The systems efficiently accommodate full pallet loading with turret lift trucks or hand-picking with stock picker trucks, and also support Selective Racking with upper-level full pallet loading using reach trucks and floor-level picking using walkie pallet trucks.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Hybrid Racking?
Hybrid Racking is a pallet racking system that combines structural steel frames with cost-effective roll formed beams. This pairing delivers the strength and impact durability of structural components in high-traffic areas, while keeping overall system cost down through roll formed construction elsewhere.
What racking systems is Hybrid Racking compatible with?
Hybrid Racking is commonly used with Double Deep Selective Racking and Pushback Racking, where its structural front components add impact durability in the areas most exposed to lift truck contact.
What leg options are available for Hybrid Racking frames?
Hybrid Racking frames offer three leg options: straight leg with a bull nose protector, cant leg base, or recessed leg base. Frames can also be doubled and reinforced with heavy-duty lower horizontal braces or rub rails for added protection in high-traffic warehouses.
Is Hybrid Racking suitable for 3PL distribution centers?
Yes. Hybrid Racking's roll formed beams can be adjusted to accommodate changing pallet load sizes, and the system is compatible with safety bars, wire mesh decks, and dividers. NAS Group can configure Hybrid Racking to suit the varied and changing storage needs of 3PL distribution centers.
What types of storage applications is Hybrid Racking used for?
Hybrid Racking is used for multi-level storage platforms, pick towers, and Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) Selective Racking. It supports full pallet loading with turret trucks, hand-picking with stock picker trucks, and Selective Racking setups that combine upper-level loading by reach truck with floor-level picking by walkie pallet truck.
